Mohair Cinch
& Girth Styles
Roper Cinch: 7" wide in the center, this allows pressure to be spread out more. It is ideal for working cowboys and ropers, also great on the trail.
Straight Cinch: a single layer of cinch cord tied onto the cinch buckles, ranging from 3" - 4" wide. Off billet keeper is an add on with the straight cinch.
English Girth wide center: mohair cord is wrapped on the buckles, and woven in the center. the center measures 5" and includes two billet keepers.
English/ Dressage Girth: mohair is tied onto the buckles with a woven center. billet keepers can be added. Measures 3" wide.
Cutter Cinch: a double layer of mohair cord wrapped on the buckles, with a woven center that measures approx 3" wide. Comes with one off billet keeper
Wide Cutter Cinch: built similar to the Cutter cinch, the center measures 5" and is wrapped nylon instead of woven mohair.
Narrow Cutter Cinch: built similar to the Cutter Cinch, the only difference between the two is the center is wrapped nylon on the Narrow Cutter.
Flank Cinch: 15 strand tied mohair cinch on 2.5' stainless steel heel bar buckles, with leather hobble strap. Upgraded hardware available.

All of out handmade Roper Cinches are built on Stainless steel buckles. They measure 7" in the center and come complete with an off billet keeper. Upgraded hardware option are available for extra cost.

More custom Mohair Roper Cinches!
Here we have a Custom Mohair Tack Set. Just one example of the possibilities. This set includes a 22' Braided Mohair Mecate and a Mohair noseband built on a Regular Rope Halter. All of our mohair ropes (mecates, reins, get down ropes) are braided on a waxed paracord or yacht rope core. We pay close attention to the tension of each cord, and are very meticulous with our work.

These two Mohair items belong to a set. the pulling collar (on the right) was made as an instock item. it was purchased, and we designed a roper cinch with sheepskin buckle guards to pair with it.
Here we have a couple different sets of custom made Sheepskin Buckle Guards. First is a set made to pair with a custom Mohair Roper Cinch and Mohair Pulling Collar. Second is a set of English Buckle Guards.
